To ensure your pet’s journey is as comfortable as possible, selecting the correct crate size is essential. Airlines are strict about these requirements: your pet must be able to stand, turn around, and lie down in a natural position.
Follow the IATA measurement guide below to determine the appropriate size.
Using a measuring tape, record the following four measurements while your pet is standing in a natural position:
Most airlines require your pet to be able to stand upright, turn around, and lie down comfortably. If you are unsure which size to choose, you are welcome to bring your pet to the clinic for a “test fit”.
